What Do We Charge?
We don't charge anything for a crew profile.
We charge Sea Schools a fee of £49.99 (inclusive of VAT) to have a full interactive listing, which includes extended profile, courses delivered, availabillity and a host of additional information.
We charge businesses a £29.99 (inclusive of VAT) fee to have an extended profile listing which includes the interactive search function.
Can I have an invoice for what I have paid?
Yes, PayPal automatically generates an invoice for you however we can send you a copy if you wish. Simply email us at enquiries@2012marine.com.
Why Do We Charge?
Because we are listing over 2000 Training Establishments and 3000 Marine Businesses there is a significant administrative burden in keeping the site clean, current and targeted. We have also decided to not charge Crew as these people are potentially the customer base for Courses, Products and Services, so you are also supporting them.
Why Do We Use PayPal?
Paypal is an obvious choice as it is simple, easy to use, widely understood and secure. It also removes the burden from us of holding your personal financial data.
Are Any Discounts Available?
Yes. If your Sea School or Training Centre Links back to us you will receive a £10.00 rebate on your subscription, effectively reducing it to £39.99 (inc VAT)
Why do I need to wait for my Log in Details?
We decided very early that this would be an actively managed site, we also wish to maintain the absolute integrity of the listings, therefore before any new Training Centre, Crew or Business profile is activated it is reviewed for quality and accuracy. Even though this process adds an administrative burden to us here at Marine Match, we believe it's worth it!!
How do I update the cost, additional information and availabillity of my courses?
Once logged in you can update the course costs by clicking on the courses offered tab, once you have refreshed the page a tab will appear that says 'edit price, additional info and course dates' clicke the tab and you will be able to enter the additional info.
My centre dosn't seem to be generating the right results?
Your training establishment will only generate results in the intelligent browse function if the courses offered by your centre are checked in the courses offered tab.
How do I enter my course prices and additional details about my courses?
You should log into your profile and click the courses tab. Within your checked course boxes you will see an edit tab. Click the edit tab and you will be able to enter pricing details and any bespoke information about the courses you deliver.

Why we show so much information on the crew profiles?
This is an ongoing discussion, however after much consideration we decided to make these people as accessible as possible as they actually wish to be found and employed. We have given the power back to the Crew members to decide what information they list. Ultimatly a crew member can put a drop box email address only as a POC.
